I Need Some Help Badly..? Horse Pasted Away?

Question by Victoria: I need some help badly..? Horse pasted away?
Its been almost a year since shes been gone, and it hasn’t gotten any easier, people have told me it will get better, but it hasn’t? I’m really trying my best to move forward but I can’t. She was my first horse, I had her for 9 years. She was the prettiest horse I have ever seen in my life. And the best horse I have ever met in my life. She was so amazing, If I had ever fallen off (which was really rare because she ALWAYS took care of me) She would stay right there with me and made sure I was okay. She’d do anything I would ask of her.
She was one of those horses who didn’t have a care in the world and was nice to everyone.
She died the day after valentines day. It was weird because right before it happened, I was talking to her and I said “It’s okay if you have to go, I love you, Don’t hold on for me, If you have to go, go.” And then she collapsed to the ground and couldn’t get up, I stayed up most of the night with her and I finally got her on her feet again, but the next morning she went down again and I had to make the decision to put her down. It was very hard for me. And it still is. I don’t know how to handle something like this. Its been almost a year and I’m still torn up on it. Please help me… I’m loosing hope.
& I also have two other horses, btw..

The thing is that you are never going to get over it. It is like losing a pet that you have had since you where a baby. Just keep moving forward and dont stay in the past. Get a new horse and love them the same way you loved your old one.
