Question by FortySeven: How to help a cat with the passing of his brother/best friend?
It’s killing me to type this much less think about this since I raised since they were like 3 weeks. But the biggest thing I can’t get over. Seeing him miss his brother so much. Hes roamed all day, all night looking for his brother, I want to help the poor thing so bad but I don’t know what to do, he misses his brother they slept together, ate together, and played together. It hurts me so bad but not as much as it hurts to see his brother miss still looking for his brother. They are both so young ,not even 3 years old. I’ll do ANYTHING to help this sad little cat, I just want him to be happy but I know its hard because he lost his brother.
He was an indoor cat and had EVERY shot.

I’m sooooo sorry for your loss. I’ve been there, so I know how it feels!
The best thing you can do to help your cat is to spend time with him as much as you can.
Let him sleep next to you if that’s possible, don’t leave him alone all day. He will have to adapt to being alone. It will take some time, but he’ll be ok don’t worry.

If he has a a preferred toy, make sure it’s near him so that he play with it.
