How Do I Find a Therapist?
Question by James: How do I find a therapist?
I’ve decided I need therapy. Now I’ve tried this before and the first guy was everything you think of as a “therapist”. Sweater vest, slacks, comfortable shoes and the first thing he asked about was my relationship with my father. There was no way I was opening up to this guy. So now that I wanna try again I would love a way to look people over and try and find a therapist that fits with me. But how do you do that? Any advice?

You can go on google and type in the place you live in and type therapists, and then just call the number, or you can go ask around. Good luck with that! 🙂 Oh and any therapist is gonna ask you about your relationship with your father, thats what mine asked me, but i couldn’t open up to her either, so then i thought, what the heck, she’s the only one thats gonna know what im telling her and shes the one thats gonna help me. 🙂
