How Can I Tell My Mom I Think I’m Depressed?
Question by Prim Elle: How can I tell my mom I think I’m depressed?
I’ve been feeling depressed for weeks now but I just noticed what was going on. How can I tell my mom? I think she’ll just say its hormones (because I’m 14) or its because we recently moved. And when would I tell her? I really want help.
I know some people will say its hormones and that stuff but i believe it is depression so please answer the question instead of saying stuff like “oh youre just a teenager”

No I know how you feel. I had depression at age 13 until I was actually diagnosed at 14. Sit her down and talk to her, tell her that you don’t think it’s hormones. And that you shouldn’t be feeling the way you do. Tell her you want help. Tell yer straight out. Be serious about it. Good luck and If that doesn’t work then try joining supportgroups.com which is an online support group. Or call a hotline!!
