My mom’s parents died and she is just KILLING me with kindness. Can you tell me what to do? I’m doing all I can, but it’s not working because I am just a kid. Please help me!

If your mother is kind, then how can she be unhappy?

You’re not “just a kid” — you seem very concerned about your mom.

If you are worried about her feelings over losing her parents, perhaps you could talk with her about it, and let her know you care about her feelings. If your mother is still grieving or if the death of her parents is affecting her life, she can always go to grief counseling or join a grief forum online.

You can’t “make” anyone else happy — happiness comes from the inside.
