If Someone Mentions That They Have Lost Someone in an Email…?
Question by Ernesto: If someone mentions that they have lost someone in an email…?
Relationship status: acquaintances becoming closer.
Is it proper to inquire about the person who has died and give some words of encouragement or should I just stick with providing condolences.
“I’m going to be taking care of my grandma this weekend because my grandpa passed away, we are all still grieving but I always look look at the bright side of life, trying to stay positive”
That didn’t answer anything. I understand that you can’t just flip like that, years of sleeping, hugging, kissing, talking, eating, etc. I don’t know the grandma. This question was not about the grandma. It was an email from an acquaintance who happened to mention that their still grieving and sharing how they are going through it.

Need a Fresh Take on Life? Books, Advice, Ideas on What to Do?
Question by To-Many-Questions: Need a fresh take on life? Books, advice, ideas on what to do?
I’m a young community college student who recently lost her mom and have fallen into a terrible depression. I’ve been wanting to move out and find myself for a while but with my mom gone I feel compelled to stay to help my dad and lil bro. I’m failing all my classes and am getting angrier and more depressed each day. I’ve already decided to take the next semester off but don’t know where to go from there. Any books on finding yourself or advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!
Please no preachy god stuff – just down to earth real people. I have my own Gods and don’t need a conversion thankyouverymuch.
