Can a Sophomore in HS Student Homeschool Herself in NC?
Question by ?Asylum???Suicide?: Can a Sophomore in HS student homeschool herself in NC?
I really can’t stand school. School is N O T for everyone, and it is definitely not for me. I want to be homeschooled. I live in North Carolina, and I know the laws in NC. I’ve read homeschooling sites and my state says homeschooling is legal in NC. The problem is my mother works as a single parent and CANNOT AFFORD A TUTOR! At all. We have no one else to homeschool me. There is just no way. I want to homeschool myself. What step should MY MOTHER OR I TAKE to be certified for homeschooling. I already have handled where I am getting the supplies. Now I need to know what step we should take. Will she have to take a teacher test or what? Can I even homeschool myself in NC? I’m desperate. I HATE THE HELL out of school I am trying mnit to make this a little suicice sob story but its either homeschooling or dying. And do not give me “get counseling” bullsh(+.
Thanks in advance! 🙂
