Family Financial Problems?

Question by Gary: Family financial problems?
I am 15 and living in dublin with my family. Parents brother and sister.
My parents own theirnown business manufacturing window frames, and from what i can guess they make alot of money from it. We have a big modern house and 2 holiday homes. As you probably know there is a recession now :(. And my parents seem quite depressed. Christmas is on the way and well my parents are getting me a computer that i have wanted for years but i was too young. The computer is quite expensive.

I have noticed my mum a bit sad latley and i adked her why. She said that the bank are “giving us grief”. Basically my parents seem to be in quite a bit of debt. This makes me really sad because mainly my parents can enjoy chrismas because of the stupid bank.

Atheist May I Ask How Do You Explain Death to Your Children?

Question by girl with the face: Atheist may i ask how do you explain death to your children?
How do you tell a little child when there is a death in the family. I mean as a Christian i believe in heaven and that’s what most people tell there kids, but even after that its still hard to explain to them. So how does a child “under stand that they will never wake up”. Truthfully is it hard. Are the children afraid of death?

Will the streetlights be turned off?

Best answer:

Answer by Flying Car
Turning streetlights off will be dumb that means the killer could stand out in the open and not have to hide down a dark ally.

How Are Oliver Cromwell and Maximilien Robspierre Similar?

Question by low_angel1622: How are Oliver Cromwell and Maximilien Robspierre similar?
(I tried explaining myself, but the textbook we use for history is not very thorough at all…)
and do you think the French Revolution was worth it in the end?

Best answer:

Answer by Tom
They modernised their countries, bringing them out of Medieval absolute monarchies, and into a humane future, with no more church domination, and no more slow painful executions. Cromwell’s England reverted back to this after his death, however, while Robespierre’s fellow Revolutionaries succeeded, apart from a few years when two kings were brought back into power.

What do you think? Answer below!
