Does This Sentence Have Correct Punctuation?
Question by That Girl: Does this sentence have correct punctuation?
“The cognitive-behavioral perspective proposes changing the way we view life to become happier (this perspective is closely related to Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy).”
I’m correcting an old essay and I can’t figure out if the sentence should be changed to:
“The cognitive-behavioral perspective proposes changing the way we view life to become happier; this perspective is closely related to Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy.”
Or should I just break it into two separate sentences?
