Question by Midnight G.E: Do psychological issues really lead to physical ailments?
For example : I notice that If I am stressed or angry , I get a headache.
Or if I am experiencing anxiety : I notice symptoms of increased pulse/heart rate and sweating.
Are there more serious problems “physical” which can develop from a person having poor “mental” health

There is a definite connection between the mind and the body. When we experience, both positive and negative, there is an impact on our bodies. Our bodies can feel the euphoria we experience when we meet that special someone just as much as it can feel the stress we experience from anger or anxiety. We can feel adrenalin pumping through our bodies when we exercise and equally when we are nervous or scared.
Stress, as an example, can cause any of the following physical symptoms:
*Headache/migraine
*Backache
*Chest pains
*High blood pressure
*Graying hair/loss of hair
*Restless sleep/insomnia
*Loss of appetite/increased appetite
*Twitching legs
*Broken capillaries
*Sweating
*Dry throat
*Body tension
Both the mental and physical are important, if one is feeling stressful, the other will soon feel stressful too. They rely on each other, they support each other.
