Do I Have a Mental Problem? Help Please?

Question by Anthony little tree: do i have a mental problem? help please?
i went to take a IQ test at my counselors office last week and this week i just got my scores back. in my language and verbal connection skills i am in the 97 percentile which my counselor said makes me gifted (im 16) and also in my visual learning and attentiveness i scored in the 92nd percentile. but her is the complicated part on my recollection and memory i scored in the 18th percentile. which makes me “disabled” now i have been having problems remembering things since i was younger but i didn’t realize i was that bad.. do any of you know if i have some kind of mental disorder?? my counselor just said i can file for disability at school and thats it. but what i want to know is if i have some kind of learning problem or brain problems help please??

IQ test are not valid any longer, there not recognised by lots of psychiatrist today.stop over thinking things and creating some type of impairment you don’t have.your just a thinker, active mind so you forget things from time to time this is normal. shame on your counselor for telling you this
