Question by dil: What is the mentality on a abused child ?
I mean after the incident child will be institutionalized under probation department. what are you think about this?

depending on the age bracket and what type of abuse being done. if the child was sexually abused by member of the family she/he will developed hatred and perhaps he/she will do to other people what was done by him/her. and if the child was physically abused if not resolve sooner he/she will seek revenge.
the mentality of the child “when i grow up i will have my revenge”, and please don’t wait if his/her personality will shatter. Put him/her in psychotherapy that would help the child cope with the situation.
have you watched IDENTITY of john cusak? that’s one of the common example.

I always wondered what happens to the brain when you are conscious but don’t remember what you’ve done?

You lose functions that are controlled by the frontal part of your brain. These include motor skills, speech, and judgment. Drink in moderation. The combination of smoking and drinking alters the effects of both activities, however, does not become any more detrimental than the lone activities.

i am 20 weeks pregnant. i am on Medicaid and the type i have doesn’t cover “mental health”. i really feel like i need to be on depression medicine-my depression has gotten really bad lately and i occasionally have suicidal thoughts.
my question is, can an OB prescribe that to me, or would i need to see a mental help specialist?

No! They can not it’s dangerous to your baby that’s trying to grow. It’s not good to take those period but, with child… Lady… Really?? No NO NO NON NONONNONNONONONO! Find ways of feeling happy going on walks with your ipod on…. Mall and shop…etc…

and if im already diagnosed with adhd, can i get diagnosed for depression in one session?

and if im under 18 can i go to the doctor by myself?

and do medical clinics diagnose depression or would i have to get professionally tested?
and what would symptoms be if the illnesses were combined in a teenager?
i believe i took strattera in 4th grade, all 3 of them. it did nothing for me.
im currently on concerta, but have stopped taking it because it makes me more moody.

there is a pill called strattera that was made for depression, but they also use it for adhd.
