Question by : How can I get over mental illness?
I’m really mad right now because I feel like I can only survive by therapy and pills. I hate it. I stopped therapy but can’t stop the pills. Tried and turned into a depressed blob suffering from withdrawals. I have major depression and my loved ones don’t understand at all. I get “Go back to the therapist.” but I don’t want to rely on someone like that my whole life and certainly don’t need the bills. How can I get over my major depression without pills and therapy?

Question by artiscolor: Can people who are in AA get special treatment at work?
If a person is stealing company time or money (small amount) and is involved in alcohol treatment receive different consequences than a non alcoholic employee? There is an employee at my work who is frequently late, no-call/no-show, clocks in without working for up to an hour, is stealing small amounts of merchandise, and is subject for termination. However, when complaints are made, employees are told by management that the “employee” is in treatment and by law they are not allowed to suspend or terminate the individual. Is this the lack of backbone in the company or the law in Massachusetts? Thank you.

They are getting to much special treatment. treatment and stealing are not they same thing

Question by Nick: School Presentation Help-Narconon?
I did almost all of it.. but I cant find anything else really anywhere. The presentation is about the Narconon Drug Rehab facility (Mostly the one in Albion Michigan) The things I need are
“The categories of service offered by the facility”
“What types of techniques, activities, and programs are offered to help the individual(s)?”
and that’s it. I cant find these answers.

Also if you can please include your resources. Please and thank you.

And I know most people just dont give you the answers.. so if you could show me a link to something that helps that’s fine too. Thanks 🙂

Question by Hat: How to deal with a delusional bipolar?
My mother is a bipolar and started having delusions that I am hacking into her home network and spying on her, stealing money from her and her family’s bank accounts, tapping into her phones, etc… She seems to have gathered ‘evidence’ for my non-existent criminal activities and she’s 100% convinced that this is happening. Is it possible that this will eventually go away? Every time I counter her ‘evidence’ it seems to do no good. Is there any way to cure delusions?

Medications and therapy help tremendously. Perhaps once your mother is no longer in a period of mania you could start family therapy. Mental illness is often a family illness.
