Question by .: When does “sexting” become illegal in Canada?
When does “sexting” become illegal in Canada? I understand that if both or one of the people in this activity is caught with PICTURES is could be considered child pornography. However, what if the two people are underage but are just sending TEXTS could that be considered illegal in anyway?
This guy and I have been “sexting” a bit, i know its wrong and im gonna tell him that we should stop anyways , i was just curious.

It doesn’t matter that you are underage, it is still illegal to be involved in what could be considered child porn. Being underage does not allow you to do this. Child porn is child porn, regardless of the ages of the people involved.

It must be a really difficult for people doing this, and I have real empathy for you guys.

Sometimes I think people go into it because they don’t feel accepted and they think “of only I was female I wouldn’t have these problem”. Just being a different gender is never going to solve all you problems. You’ll still look in the mirror and see the same old face looking back, maybe with a bit less hair.

I think a lot of people expect everything to be ok- for everything to feel right- once they’ve made the change, but for a lot of people changing gender brings a whole new set of problems. Very few transsexuals actually look like the gender they are trying to become.
