Are These Politicians Fake Christians?
Question by Psycho Wing: Are these politicians fake christians?
I’m not the biggest fan of religion, but I have to say that I am sick of religious politicians, namely republicans. They use christianity to gather support from people who share their faith and then commit contradictory actions. I will start with Michele Bachmann. She owns a “Christian Counseling” center that has been accused by various sources of using conversion therapy to turn homosexuals into heterosexuals. What happened to the christian ideal of accepting and loving one another? I know there are a lot of christians who label homosexuality as a sin, but the way I see it is if they’re not harming or inconveniencing anyone, then leave them to it. Just love and accept them as christianity dictates.
Is There a Bias Against Men in the Legal System?
Question by Jake G: Is there a bias against men in the legal system?
I’m not saying this happens all the time, just in general. For instance, why is it that women who kill their children are given sympathy and sentenced to “treatment” while men who do the same thing are charged with murder and sentenced to life?
Again this is a general point. The only exception I can think of is Casey Anthony when she allegedly murder her daughter, Caylee.

Women who murder their children are given a life sentence, usually. They are only incarcerated in a mental facility if they are demonstrably insane.

Can Someone Please Edit My Essay on Homelessness?
Question by Karie W: Can someone please edit my essay on homelessness?
When I work with people who have been homeless, I truly understand what they are going through. I have experienced being homeless to some point in my life for over a year.
Homeless does not necessarily mean living on the streets. Sleeping on the couch at a friends house because you lost your apartment, doubling up and living with family in crowded quarters until you can find a place, sleeping in cars, under bridges, and at a homeless shelters are considered homelessness. Some people are driven into homelessness as a result of cost of living outweighing personal income or due to loss of a job. More and more individuals that are homeless are woman and children.
