Question by Madame Morticia: Do Whiny, Self-Centered “Depressed” People Annoy You?
I am so sick of whiny, self-centered, so-called “depressed” people. These people mope around all day focusing on every little negative thing that happens and every negative thought or emotion in their head. Often they pop a cornucopia of pharmeceuticals daily and pay overpriced doctors for counselling sessions.

Question by Joe B: Depression as a disability, apparently 1/4 of those diagnosed with depression receive disability compensation?
You favor helping those with extreme depression in the sense that they can be deemed disabled, not have to work, and collect a free check every month.

Your job is to argue why your depression makes you disabled in the sense that you can’t work although your physically capable. In addition, please argue why staying at home and getting disability helps you get any better in terms of not being depressed, it appears this strengthen the mentality having it formally recognized.

Personally I believe labeling depression as a disability and allowing those to make disability claims is counter productive to rehabilitation, many doctors conquer.
