Can I Just Walk Into “OPEN” Narcotics Anonymous Meetings?
Question by Q-rious Cat: Can I just walk into “OPEN” Narcotics Anonymous meetings?
For those who have been to Narcotics Anonymous meetings for whatever reason, are people allowed to simply come in during the meeting or do we have to call in advance first?
I’m a college student and one of course requirements is to visit one and simply observe and make a report about the meeting’s set up and how people interact.
Thanks.

Yep. You’ll be welcome. Don’t forget to bring a dollar or two with you. These places are non-orofit and need the contributions. Good luck with your project. And, if you do hit a meeting…you’re better off not making your intent to be there as clear as you’ve made it here. Junkies hate being looked as ‘subjects’ in general. When the Q for the session comes to you…just say “pass”.
