Am I Too Old to Go to College Now?
Question by Cody: Am I too old to go to college now?
I’m 23 years old, and I really have had the desire to go back and finish college. At 18, I completed one semester and just couldn’t handle it. I wasn’t ready yet, I had too much going on at home to stand to be away from home. I had to dis-continue school.
Now that I’m at a point where things have started to settle down in my life, I’ve always regretted not finishing college. But I’m thinking now is it too late? I don’t want to go to an all adult school, I want to go back to a 4 year university with people who will be (although, maybe younger) around my age. I want to expand my knowledge in my field while still get the college experience that all my friends who are now out talk about.
Am I too old though? Will schools allow someone who is older like me to live on campus ? I would have to live on campus as the school I have in mind is too far from home for a commute. And, can I still get student loans at an older age like this?

You are only 23! Do it while you are still young! When I went to college I had a woman in my class in her 50’s, no one cared. Living on campus? I’m pretty sure they will let you. Call and ask the school you want to go to just to make sure. Go for it! Good luck!!
