Also, how does medical insurance transfer from state to state whne going to an out of state college? (medicaid)

Yes, counseling should be available on your campus. Check your school’s website and search “Counseling Center”.

If you need to use your insurance, it’s not going to matter if you’re not in your home state. Your insurance is billed like usual no matter where you happen to be at the time.
