I know I’m not going to say this well because I don’t know all the technical terms. I hope you’ll understand though. I had to have a “hormonal support” with my first child. I had to take pills and a suppository. It helped “keep” the pregnancy and avoid a miscarriage (which I was prone to do). Apparently I was deficient in the hormone that would do this naturally during a normal pregnancy. I only had to take it up until about the 4th or 5th month when that particular hormone is no longer required/active.
