Most psychologists would be able to help. Different psychologists might follow different approaches but the technique that is most often used to get rid of phobias (including fear of snakes) is called “systematic desensitization”. In psychology, this technique belongs to the behaviorist school of thought. The psychologists that use this technique are often called, “behavioral psychologists” or “cognitive-behavioral therapists”.
