I mean after the incident child will be institutionalized under probation department. what are you think about this?

depending on the age bracket and what type of abuse being done. if the child was sexually abused by member of the family she/he will developed hatred and perhaps he/she will do to other people what was done by him/her. and if the child was physically abused if not resolve sooner he/she will seek revenge.
the mentality of the child “when i grow up i will have my revenge”, and please don’t wait if his/her personality will shatter. Put him/her in psychotherapy that would help the child cope with the situation.
