Can My OB Prescribe Depression Medication?
Question by Rogue: Can my OB prescribe depression medication?
i am 20 weeks pregnant. i am on Medicaid and the type i have doesn’t cover “mental health”. i really feel like i need to be on depression medicine-my depression has gotten really bad lately and i occasionally have suicidal thoughts.
my question is, can an OB prescribe that to me, or would i need to see a mental help specialist?
thanks.
