Question by eternus: If you went to a doctor for depression, what would they do besides prescribe pills?
I see people saying “get help” at someone who’s depressed (and has no friends to turn to), but what help can they get? And what happens during therapy?

Well, go to a general practitioner to start. I asked mine “Why am I so sad all the time?”. That started a dialogue.
