Question by future solider: prenuptial agreement and wavier of right to independent council?
My future wife and I decided that it would be in our best interest to sign a prenuptial agreement and in the prenup we have created a clause that limits the amount of money my wife could get for alimony and it limits the length of time she can receive it. And i was wondering if there was any way we can waive our right to have an independent council review our prenup? and if there is a way we can do this what forms must we fill out to waive this right.
oh yes, we live in california

Suggesting that anyone would waive legal right to counsel under any circumstance is bad counsel – so bad that it might actually void the prenuptial as not entered into in good faith.
