I Was Violated in a Mental Hospital?
Question by David: I was violated in a mental hospital?
I had a fist fight with my 20 year old brother at home and chocked him as he broke free he called the police calming I was crazy and needed help. I try to explain myself to the cops, but they said come with us to the police station to see a mental tester who tests people with mental questions to see if I have a “Problem” or not.
I answered carfully yet she still said to the police he needs to go to a mental hospital to get checked out. I kept my clam the whole entire time while I was there trying to reason with the doctor about my fight with my brother explaining the situation. She never listen to me and said I needed medication Benadrly and Lexapro for my stress/anger related issues. I said no, I do not need meds please let me leave. She said she would FORCE them on me.
I couldn’t believe what was happening. I spent 2 weeks there and decided to finally take the pills which was for 8 days only during the 2nd week and then an attorney showed up asking me are they letting you leave today ? I said yes.
I never knew that I had a chance to see an attorney, but of coruse the doctors aren’t going to tell me my rights because they wanted to fucin trick me and get money out of it.
I was violated when there was NOTHING wrong with me to begin with. I cried everyday until I left that mental hospital and now I am home still crying while my brother does not give a sh^t. I want to sue this doctor. Do I have a possibly case ?

“The Nuremberg Code begins with that core principle that “the voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential.” The other requirements are that any experiment on a human subject should be for the good of society; it should build on the results of animal experimentation and scientific knowledge, it should “avoid all unnecessary physical and mental suffering and injury;” there should be no “a priori reason to believe that death or disabling injury will occur” (with the possible exception of the experimental physicians serving as subject); the degree of risk should be proportionate to the humanitarian gain; adequate precautions should be taken “to protect the experimental subject against even remote possibilities of injury, disability, or death;” only scientifically qualified persons should conduct the experiment; the subjects should be able to halt the experiment “if he has reached the physical or mental state where continuation of the experiments seems to him to be impossible;” and the lead scientist should be prepared to end the experiment at any stage “if he has probable cause to believe, in the exercise of the good faith, superior skill, and careful judgment required of him, that a continuation of the experiment is likely to result in injury, disability, or death to the experimental subject.”
