Question by Jennifer K: Plz help me detaling advices and course of action (imagine dat u r a new supervisor coming in) thx ^-^?
Da story is … Ms.A is a staff at woman’s hotline (a rape and domestic crisis center). There r 7 full & part time workers, who c each other as friends. however, they hav the same understandin dat ppl shouldn’t take responsibility of each other’s cases. The recent case Ms.A gets is one of her client was killed by a man who once raped Ms.A. So this is traumatic for her and she has hard time dealing with this. she has no supervisor to consult and feels like none of her coworkers support or help her. Later, she notice dat the others think dat she is adding responsibility to them since she is not able to work wid full capacity. they think that she is disturbed. after 7 months, she requests 2 weeks off in order to get any from this incident for a while and renew her energy but the others dont deny her request and think that she is lazy. they also write what they c as the responsibilities of a fulltime workers. Ms.A angry and write a work grievance but the result is increasing of tension.

Well, though I can barely understand your question because apparently you have never spelled the words “that,” “see,” and “are” before in your life, I think as a new supervisor coming in one should let Ms. A take some time off if she feels she needs it for her mental health. If she begins abusing this privilege, and demands more and more time off, becoming less productive, that is unacceptable and she would need to be “counseled” in order to become more productive again.
