Invisible: Student Voices, Mental Health, and the College Experience (A Theatrical Presentation) – Lecture part of 2010 Depression on College Campuses Conference – “Many Faces, A New Look”. University of Michigan Educational Theatre Company Invisible: Student Voices, Mental Health, and the College Experience (A Theatrical Presentation) The University of Michigan Educational Theatre Company (UMetc) is a program of the Office of New Student Programs. UMetc performs at student orientations, in classrooms, and at special events throughout campus. Material in the Invisible sketch was collected through interviews with University of Michigan students (funded by a grant coordinated by UM Counseling and Psychological Services); material generated by the cast of UMetc; as well as interviews with undergraduate students at the State University of New York and the resulting theater presentation Mental Health: Its Driving me Crazy, coordinated by Robbie Routenberg (now with the Program on Intergroup Relations at the University of Michigan).

NASA catches small area of heavy rain in fading Tropical Depression 25W

NASA's TRMM satellite flew over Tropical Depression 25W on Nov. 14 at 0133 UTC and captured rainfall rate data. The TRMM image shows a small area of heavy rainfall away from the center (red) where rain was falling at 2 inches/50 mm per hour.
