Question by Bella: Where can I find a teen cancer/suicide support group?
My best friend died of AML Leukemia yesterday. I really need help. Is there any sites anyone could recommend to me? I’ve been looking around and I can’t find anything. I can’t use the phone. Thanks for the help

I’m sorry to hear about your friend’s death. The two things you are asking for are very different. If you are feeling suicidal, you absolutely must tell an adult and get some help.
I recommend the website Hello Grief to teenagers facing loss. It offers online support. You can find it here http://www.hellogrief.com.
You don’t say where you live, so it’s impossible to recommend actual in-person groups. Contact your local hospital and ask if they have groups for teens experiencing grief. You can also contact a local hospice- they often run groups that are open to the public and not just people using their services. Just a word of advice- inquire about grief groups, and not teen cancer, because a teen cancer group is generally for teens who have cancer. You need something focusing on bereavement.
Locally, we have 4 very strong grief support programs. You can often find these by searching your area and “grief support group” on the internet.
