Question by Pace: How do you feel about a churches that have programs that treats the mentally ill?
Do you feel a pastor should have a direct role in treating people with a mental illness, or play the role of a quasi physiologist?
If you think this is OK or just a good idea, how do resolve the question, is it practicing medicine with out a license?

Well – thanx to the right wingers in this country, we have no healthcare for people who are mentally ill. A case of schizophrenia in a family can bankrupt them. So it’s probably nice that the mentally ill would have ANYWHERE to go to talk to anybody.
The problem is that you can’t do much good poking jesus and bibles at people – it just upsets them.
