Highrock Christmas Concert 2011 Promo – Our dream has been to be the kind of church that makes a difference in our community. And for the past four years, we have done just that through our annual Christmas Benefit Concert! In previous years, we have raised thousands of dollars for the Arlington Food Pantry and last year, raised nearly 000 for the Arlington Safety Net, serving our neighbors in need. We’ve received participation from dozens of local businesses who partnered with us to make each year possible. And since our first performance in 2006, hundreds of people have made coming to our concert a tradition! This year marks the fifth year of our concert and we can’t be more overjoyed. From the beginning, we’ve envisioned this concert to be more than just entertainment, and our guests who come, more than members of an audience. Through an elegantly crafted program of music, visuals, readings and poetry, we hope to share the story of Christmas in a fresh and inspiring way. We also hope our guests will truly feel like they are being welcomed into our home as we support a great cause together. All proceeds from this year’s concert will benefit the Arlington Youth Counseling Center. In cooperation with the Arlington Department of Health and Human Services, our goal is to fully fund a case manager program that will expand and increase services around youth and family mental health, domestic violence prevention, and near-homelessness intervention.
