In a Marital Counseling Session, My Husband Said He Might Hang Out With Someone of the Opposite Sex?
Question by beachtan365: In a marital counseling session, my husband said he might hang out with someone of the opposite sex?
The day after I left my husband, he forced me to make a counseling appointment. It was more like, “if you love me, then you’d stay by my side you fat piece of sh*t and help me go to counseling.” So like an idiot, I did just to show him I cared about him. I made an appointment with a counselor while we argued and was able to see someone that day. During the session, the counselor agreed we should separate for now but in the meantime, my husband should start a courtship with me again and he should be the one to call me if he wants to see the kids. He also asked us if we planned on seeing someone of the opposite sex while we were separated for the first month. My husband then asked for more clarification, and that he was open to the idea of “hanging out” with a female exclusively or with a group of friends. I am not stupid but I need someone else to tell me to give up this loser. Does he really just want to see other people? Was all the abusive things he said a means to make me want to leave him?
My head is so messed up right now.
