Is It Possible to Become a Drama Therapist Without Majoring in “Drama Therapy”?
Question by : is it possible to become a drama therapist without majoring in “drama therapy”?
I was researching colleges and came across a major called drama therapy that really interests me but the only school near me that offers it is NYU. Is it possible to become a drama therapist if I weren’t to get accepted at NYU? If so, how would I go about doing that, could I major in theater and phsycology and still become a drama therapist?

It seems as though you can get your masters in theatre or psychology, and take outside courses to become registered as a drama therapist.
