Why Not Rather Allow Wrongs? Why Not Rather Suffer Yourselves to Be Defrauded?

Question by : Why not rather allow wrongs? Why not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?
Suggested category: Jokes & Riddles : )

“Already indeed there is plainly a fault among you, that you have law suits one with another. Why do you not rather take wrong? Why do you not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded? But you do wrong and defraud: and that to your brethren.”
(1Cor 6:7-8 Douay-Rheims 1899)

Doesn’t this good message of the Apostle Paul match perfectly with what the Christ, the Master, instructed us to do ?

You have heard that it hath been said: An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth. But I say to you not to resist evil: but if one strike thee on thy right cheek, turn to him also the other: And if a man will contend with thee in judgment, and take away thy coat, let go thy cloak also unto him. And whosoever will force thee one mile, go with him other two. Give to him that asketh of thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not away.”
(Mat 5:38-42 Douay-Rheims 1899)

Rather than defend ourselves against wrong/ evil, and being defrauded why not rather “resist NOT evil”… knowing that these are the purposeful trials and opportunities to “become the children of the Highest”, and “be counted worthy of that age, and the ressurection from the dead…”?
(Luke 6:35) (Luke 20:35)

“Servants, be obedient to your masters in all fear (reverence), not only to those good and forbearing, but also to the perverse ones. For this is a grace (thankworthy), if because of conscience toward God anyone bears grief, suffering unjustly. For what glory is it if you patiently endure while sinning and being buffeted? But if you are suffering while doing good, and patiently endure, this is a grace from (acceptable with) God. For you were called to this, for even Christ suffered on our behalf, leaving behind an example for us, that you should follow His steps;”
(1Peter 2:18-21 Literal Translation)

“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
(Rom 12:21 MKJV)

Much love to you all, brothers and sisters, and may we walk in this grace by the grace of God as exemplified in the Son of His Agape! : )
This is NO JOKE!…. it just struck me as funny that the “system” suggested that category… : )

Thank you for sharing your eternal perspectives on these present afflictions.

“For the lightness of our present affliction works out for us a far more excellent eternal weight of glory,”
(2Cor 4:17 MKJV)

Answer by Love has Teeth
For Mercy’s sake I have mercy. For the reviling and refusal of Mercy, I have nothing to defend it, neither condone it, neither any way to prevent its negative consequences. I, like all on Earth, have needs for Mercy. The person whosoever is the neighbor having need, who knocks at the door, if he does not find his need fulfilled, his need does not go away for that he has been refused. Instead, he has no other option, but than to become the enemy upon the battle front. It is not only them who love God, who owe their fellow mankind the love of God. He whosoever does not love, makes himself a borrower of the time of his life, subject unto the lender. Him who ultimately reviles the Mercy of it, and does not come to love, will eventually have not for what they have refused. I have no reason to accept that anyone does not love God, and as equally as himself in it, his fellow mankind. I have nothing good to give those who would refuse it, and so they receive as the would, even from me, I can not prevent it. Who can I comfort, who reviles comfort?
Everything, as well, everything in the scriptures, works as it does in the relationship of its all inclusive greater entirety of relationship.
There are only 7 main categories of thing the scriptures tell us not to be ignorant of. One is the consequences of unbelief. Another, is God’s deliverance in times of trouble. It is surely clear which is the priority. Without God’s Mercy and His Commitment to deliver us from evil, no one would ever even live so long as to find Grace. Never the less, sin has its consequences, even leading up and unto even death. I can not prevent a person from finding a negative ends, who is utterly determined to find it. I can even tell them of peace, and the can hate me for it. I can not help that I should Love how love functions, more than them. If I did not love it more, I could not love them, at all. If they revile love, I can not help that it would be an abomination to me. Nor can I call it acceptable. The love of God is acceptable. I will tell the heart that has cursed itself, that there is a curse upon it. I am not ashamed of the truth.
