I was “counseled” in writing for going to the safety manager to get clarification on a fire safety assessment and was told I didn’t follow my chain of command. When in fact I did not only via in person, over the phone but in an email to my company manager, and safety manager.

Which I was told I was right and even apologized to by my manager. 2 weeks later they wrote me up for it, then wrote me up for again not following chain of command when there was another issue. Which in fact I did again and could prove in writing with emails that I had sent out.

In march of this year I had to write up 3 incident reports. 2 were from medical errors I found, one was from unknown origins on a client with bruises up and down her left arm.

I had also told them I would be having surgery and would be out of work for 6 weeks and needed my disability forms. At which point I was told they were at 2 different locations and I never received my forms.

Then this Thursday I was called into the office based on a lie, saying “could you come in to discuss your concerns?” So I was happy that somebody was finally going to listen to me.

At which point they handed me my termination paper, based on the past write ups which I was proven right one, and their excuse was I altered a nursing treatment book.

Which the treatment sheet was for a bp guideline that said call RN if bp was over 140/19 *see med guidelines. So I put one line through it and ititaled it with the correct bp guideline 140/60. When I showed my manger she tore the bp guideline out of the nursing log so it looked like I had just written it in there.

I did write this down in a letter to my managers boss saying that I was being harassed when I get to work, my work is being altered and I’m being targeted.

Mind you I have never been late, always 15-30 minutes early, never had a problem at my job, always had outstanding reviews, even was promoted to supervisor in January before he new manager came in. I had gotten a card in the mail saying I had my company’s values and I was on the up and up.

Then all of a sudden when I question their policies and get proven right I’m targeted and then fired.

Because I have over 100 emails with back and forth communication proving I always followed chain of command, questioned, and documented the errors in question how can they fire me? How can they deny me my disability forms and then fire me for it? Is there anything I can do?

Very confused…
