Catholic: What Do I Do to Seek a Confessor?
Question by lil bit: Catholic: What do I do to seek a Confessor?
Unfortunately, our local Priest has appeared very judgemental towards me. He also tells me that I don’t need to take my medication for anxiety and depression; and inquires as to how much money I spend on my doctor, therapist and medication – stating that “counseling” with him is “free,” This all has made me very uncomfortable. I used to go to Confession at least once a month – now I don’t feel comfortable sharing with him so don’t go to Confession very often. The next Priest available is about a 45 minute drive away – should I go to him instead???
